Drinks that Help in Weight Loss and to Maintain Good Health

I always talk about starting your day with any kind of drink and also include so many of them in various diet plans as well. These drinks not only kick start your metabolism but also help you in losing weight and maintaining a good health. I cannot stress enough on the fact that your health or your day is really affected by the first thing you put in your mouth. Believe me, it really matters. So, today i am going to share the recipes of these magic potions so that you all can include them in your diet.

1. Methi dana water

Methi dana (Fenugreek seeds) : 1 tsp

Water: 1 cup

Soak 1 tsp of methi dana in 1 cup of water overnight and have just water empty stomach next morning. It will help you in reducing your cholesterol levels, in maintaining your blood sugar levels and will help you in weight loss as well.

2. Jeera Water

Jeera (Cumin seeds) : 2 tsp

Water: 4 glasses

Boil 2 tsp of jeera in 4 glasses of water till it reduces to half, i.e., to 2 glasses. Then have this water 4 times in a day. That means, you will have half cup of jeera water in one go. It will help you in losing weight. It will also help in reducing the blood pressure and water retention.

3. Luke warm lemon water

Lemon: 1 or 1/2

Water: 1 glass

Warm one glass of water and squeeze lemon in to it. Ideally, one should have juice of 1 lemon. However, if you find it difficult due to the sour nature of lemon or if it hurts your throat, you can reduce it to half. Now, the thing which you have to keep in mind is that, you have to have plain lemon water, which means No sugar and No salt. People usually get confused about whether to add sugar and salt or not. Please do not put any. It will not only give your metabolism a boost but also help you in losing weight. Plus, lemon will alkalize your body and detoxify your liver too. Not to forget the excellent benefits of antioxidants which we find in lemon.

4. Cinnamon Water

Cinnamon Powder: 1 tsp

Water: 1 glass

As easy as it sounds, just add 1 tsp of cinnamon powder in 1 glass of luke warm water and you are done with this one. However, if you find it hard to have 1 tsp of cinnamon powder, you can start with the lesser quantity, say 1/4th tsp and slowly build it up to 1 tsp. It will help you in stabilizing your blood sugar levels and in losing weight. This drink will also help you in cutting the belly fat. Here what you need to keep in mind is that do not go overboard with this one as cinnamon if taken in large quantities regularly can affect your liver health and you definitely do not want that.

5. Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) water

Apple cider vinegar: 1 tsp

Luke warm water: 1 glass

The most easy recipe, just add 1 tsp of ACV in 1 glass luke warm water and have it. ACV has so many great benefits, that it is one of the best drink for our body. ACV not only help you in losing weight and maintaining blood sugar levels, but also cleanse our body and remove various fungal infections.

6. ACV cinnamon water

Apple cider vinegar: 1 tsp

Cinnamon powder: 1/2 tsp

Lemon: 1

Luke warm water: 1 glass

Add 1 tsp of ACV and 1/2 tsp of cinnamon water and juice of

1 lemon in 1 glass of luke warm water and you are good to go.

This drink will help you in losing weight, in cleaning of your

body, in stabilizing the sugar and the most important it will

help you in cutting the belly fat.

7. Green tea

Green tea leaves: 2 tsp

Water: 1 glass

Boil 1 glass water and turn off the gas. Put 2 tsp of green tea leaves, cover it and allow it to steep for about 10 minutes. Once the color of the water turns to brown, pass it through a mesh to separate the leaves and enjoy your green tea. You can also use 1 tea bag instead of tea leaves. One do not need to put milk or sugar in green tea. If you don't like the taste, you can add half a lemon to it.

Over the period of time, i have found that these drinks really help in boosting the metabolism, losing weight and maintaining a good health of our body.
