Tofu And Veg Salad

I am always looking for the new recipes, which are not only tasty but also high in nutrition. In fact, let me tell you very frankly that these are not the only two criteria on which i evaluate a recipe, there are few more. Well, a recipe should be healthy, easy to cook, high in protein and optimum in calories as well. And when i don't get all of these aspects in one single dish, i simply twist it and make it according to my preferences. The same i have done with today's yummy salad. It is now very easy to make, tasty, healthy, optimum for weight loss, has good amount of protein and filling too. So, who doesn't want to give it a try?

The best part of this salad is that it is very easy to make and is very filling. You can have it as a side to your main meal and also as the main meal. So, having just this salad in your dinner would be a great idea. If you are looking for weight loss, feel free to include this recipe in your dinner. Let's see how you can make it?

Recipe
Ingredients:
Chopped Lettuce: 2 cup
Chopped Cucumber: 1/2 no
Chopped Capsicum: 1 no
Chopped Tomato: 1 no
Grated Carrot: 1 no
Boiled Corn: 1/2 cup
Tofu Cubes: 1/2 cup (sauteed)
Lemon: 2 no
Grounded Flax Seeds: 1 tsp
Grounded Black Pepper: 1/2 tsp
Black Sesame Seeds: 1 tsp
Rock Salt: As per taste
Method:
1. Collect all the ingredients first. (I forgot to add tomato initially, but i have added that in the end).

2. Now, assemble the veggies in a bowl. Put lettuce at the base and top it with rest of the vegetables.

3. Now add the tofu, squeeze the lemon and then add all the seasonings.

4. Give it a good mix so that the seasonings can release their flavors.

5. Take a close look now, i have added the tomatoes.

6. Isn't it delicious? I bet it is. Now your salad is ready to serve. Enjoy !!

Note:
You can always adjust the seasonings according to your taste.
Also, you can replace the veggies according to your choice and availability.
Try to keep the veggies raw as the main aim is to get more fibre and to alkalize your body.
If you still feel hungry after having the salad, which would not be the case by the way, then you can have any fruit of your choice.
