So, while working in the this industry, i realized that there are so many reasons for weight gain. They say that experience makes you gain knowledge and over this period of me working as a dietitian, i have gained various methods to lose weight.

When people ask me how can i lose weight, my answer to them is to start following a healthy and natural diet with some simple habits which can speed up your weight loss progress. So, i am going to share these habits with you all today.
“A huge part of losing weight is believing you can do it and realizing that it is not going to happen overnight.”
Remember, these habits will only work if you follow a healthy diet and active lifestyle. Following are the habits, which you can start today to fasten your weight loss.

Include a High Protein source in your breakfast
There are various reason you should have a high-protein breakfast. The benefits includes:
Having a high-protein food in breakfast helps you in losing weight because body needs more time to digest and metabolize the proteins as compared to carbohydrates and that is why; you feel full for long.
Proteins also helps us to curb any post-meal craving because it keeps us full for long.
High protein breakfast also boost up your metabolism because body needs more energy to digest protein and that ways, you also lose weight.
There are various options of protein rich foods, which you can include in your diet like eggs, oats, nuts, dairy, chia seeds etc.

Have cumin seeds water
Having cumin seed water will help you in losing water retention. Water retention is a tendency to retain water in body's cells. So, if you see puffy eyes or swelling in your hands or feet when you woke up in the morning or any other time of the day, that means, you have retained water in your body. If you have a tendency to retain water, start having cumin water and it will help you losing retained water and ultimately the weight. For cumin seeds water, boil 2 tsp of cumin seeds in 4 cups of water till it reduces to half, i.e., to 2 cups and have this water four times in a day. Having this water daily will help you in reducing your water retention.

Have ample amount of water throughout the day
Having ample of water will not only help your body to function properly but also will help you in losing weight. However, for losing weight, one should have cold water. Yes, having cold water will make your body to use extra energy to warm that water up to body's own temperature and hence, you will burn more calories. Do not forget to maintain a good diet and an active physical routine.

Have fenugreek seeds daily
Fenugreek seeds have excellent properties. They can control your blood sugar level, maintain your blood pressure, reduce cholesterol and helps in losing weight. There is a heteropolysaccharide present in fenugreek seeds named Galactomannan, which helps to kick start the fat metabolism in your body.

Now, how can you include fenugreek seeds in your regime. There are various ways, which you can opt for, like:
You can have fenugreek water. For that soak, 1 tsp of fenugreek seeds in one cup of water overnight and have just water, next day, empty stomach daily.
Have herbal tea with fenugreek seeds. For that, soak fenugreek seeds overnight and then make a paste by grinding them. Add this paste in boiling water and have it as tea with lemon or honey.
Have fenugreek seeds as sprouts. You can make sprouts of fenugreek seeds and enjoy them in your breakfast or as a snack.
Have no distractions while eating
Believe it or not but having any distractions while eating makes you eat more than required. Our body takes at least 20 mins to receive the signals from the brain that it is full. So, it is hard to realize it when we are busy somewhere else. So, stop watching tv, any movie or reading book while having your meals. Also, make meal time the family time. Sit with your family members, discuss about your day or your future plans. Its a good way to keep the bond and relationships strong.
